In this course, students will build financial models in a spreadsheet environment (i.e., Microsoft Excel) to conduct quantitative analysis and support decision-making. Beyond the mechanics, students will be challenged to think critically and identify the problem each model solves.
? Build up excel skills and tools. ? Learn the basic building blocks of financial modeling in Excel. ? Understand the importance of Excel and financial modeling in the workforce. ? Design and present financial models in a professional, clear manner. ? Create own financial model that solves a real-world question. ? Understand what AI can and cannot do when using it to help build financial models.
