Product Details
Drawing on current industry practices, this technical note explores the integration of generative AI (genAI) into user experience (UX) research and design, as well as genAI's potential to accelerate workflows, enhance inclusivity, and support creative ideation. Although genAI offers speed and automation, it also raises ethical, methodological, and strategic concerns. Students will evaluate genAI’s promises and perils for UX and reflect on what it means to lead product teams in an AI-augmented world. The note invites critical thinking about how to use genAI without compromising UX’s human-centered foundations.
