This class is designed to prepare students for dealing with ethical challenges in the world outside academia. Focus is on the role of personal values in all types of decision making, from personal to professional.
1. Identify and explain your moral and ethical principles and values. 2. Develop a deeper understanding of ethical dilemmas through reflection and analysis. 3. Analyze ethical dilemmas by applying applicable theories and decision-making models in personal and organizational contexts. 4. Through conversations with your peers, strengthen your ability to effectively and persuasively communicate an appropriate ethical action plan. 5. Benchmark and assess your organization’s policies and practices in order to develop an action plan to strengthen the company’s ethical culture.
