New Site Features

For academic educators and professional consultants, the Darden Business Publishing online storefront is the primary resource for all course content developed by the top-teaching business faculty in the world. In February, 2016, we redesigned our website to make it easier for educators to find and assign Darden content to their students and executive education participants. Please see the brief descriptions of enhancements below and click through to any topic for more detailed information.

Darden Course Syllabi

The University of Virginia Darden School of Business is perennially ranked as the best teaching school in business higher education. Part of Darden’s mission is to share knowledge of best practices in management. To facilitate this, we offer the course syllabi and outlines for several select required and elective case-based courses as they are taught at the Darden School. To view them, select the Educator Resources tab from the main blue menu bar.

Next, select a course title to view the full Darden course description and the View Full PDF button to access the actual course syllabus.

Within each detailed course syllabus is an outline in table form, which lists all of the course materials organized by module. For ease of reference and ordering, each of the Darden products is linked to its corresponding product detail page where registered faculty members may download teaching materials when logged in to the site.

Course Packs at Darden Business Publishing

Registered faculty members can use the Darden Business Publishing course pack creator to assign all of the Darden cases, technical notes, and simulations needed for your course. We have designed this tool to make it as easy as possible to organize and distribute course materials to your students. Also, all cases and technical notes assigned in Darden course packs are automatically eligible for a discounted academic rate, which is half of the regular retail price. To get started, log in with your faculty account and see the detailed course pack instructions here.
