Several uncertain quantities that affect the desirability of the CyberLab proposal to PRICO (see UVA-QA-0382) are described, with their probability distributions. Students are expected to select a few possible scenarios randomly using these distributions, as an introduction to Monte Carlo simulation. A larger collection of trials is used in class to estimate the mean and approximate distribution of NPV for the proposal.
