Highlights from the 7th Annual University of Virginia Investing Conference

- Tuesday, December 2, 2014

The “Investing in Innovation” conference brought experts from around the world to offer their insights and thoughts on topics ranging from technology to the world economy. The event was hosted by the newly named Richard A. Mayo Center for Asset Management at the Darden School of Business. Darden's top-ranked faculty convened global thought leaders and hundreds of professional asset managers and asked them the following questions:

  • What factors will drive future growth?
  • What are those factors' implications for the classic tasks of investors (asset selection, portfolio allocation, and risk management)?
  • Which new products will truly revolutionize various industries?
  • What lies ahead in digital health care, cybersecurity, energy, technology, and monetary policy?
